Youth Programs

Youth Roots Sunday Evening

On Sunday evenings, youth group meets from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM. Our activities during this time range from praying and studying Scripture together, to special events like our dessert cook-off or art night. There’s always something new and exciting going on!

Resurrection Youth Conference

Resurrection Youth Conference is the largest Methodist youth conference in the world where around 15,000 youth and adults come and worship together in Gatlinburg, TN, in January each year. We attend every year to kickstart our faith again.

Services Sunday

Once a month, we have a Sunday afternoon service opportunity for youth and their families. Our regular service opportunities throughout the year are serving lunch downtown for Water Angels Ministry, hosting displaced families through Family Promise, and visiting with the elderly in our communities. Come be the hands and feet of Christ!

Youth Bake Sale

Twice a year, in conjunction with our Men’s Club BBQ Sale and our UMW Rummage Sale, the youth do a bake sale to raise money for the missions that we do throughout the year. Our youth bake the goods, bring the goods, sell the goods, and then use that money for more good in our community

Our Fall Retreat

During our area schools’ fall break, Roots Youth Ministry has a Fall Retreat. We usually go to one of our conference camps, stay and worship in their lodges, and get away from the hustle of regular life to be in nature. This is always a great, spiritual enriching weekend. Plan to come with us this Fall!

Junior Youth

The Jr. Youth class is made up of our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. Besides weekly Sunday School activities, they are involved in group outings and service projects. They created blankets for Susannah’s House, shopped for food basket supplies, played bingo at a local nursing home and completed other service projects. It’s also a lot of fun, with glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunts, miniature golf outing, swim parties.

Root’s Youth Ministry

The youth ministry at Ebenezer always has a full calendar. They are busy not only with their weekly gatherings, but also with outside events like Resurrection Retreat, mission trips, service days, retreats, lock-ins, concerts, music festivals, and much more. Ebenezer’s Youth Ministry has two regularly scheduled weekly gathering times throughout the school year.

All middle school and high school students are invited to “experience the rush” as we begin FLOOD, our DVD-based Bible study. A flood is coming! Join us as we explore REAL LIFE and REAL ISSUES through the lens of living as a follower of Jesus.
