The Celebration Service

9:00 AM

The Celebration Service is a gathering with contemporary praise and worship led by Todd Burkholder and Kelly Rexrode, and the message shared by our pastor. The Celebration Service is a lively, upbeat service featuring your favorite Christian music.

The Heritage Service

11:00 AM

This is a gathering for those who connect with God through hymns and liturgy. The Heritage Service is based on the United Methodist traditions of worship featuring the Heritage Choir under the direction of Carroll Logan. This worship tradition has been practiced at Ebenezer United Methodist Church for over 120 years.

Power JAM

9:00 and 11:00 am

Sundays are always special as our children experience kid-sized worship that helps them build God-sized faith. Children connect to Christ in an interactive children’s program of PRAISE, WORSHIP, and HUDDLE GROUPS every Sunday at 9:00am and 11:00am

What should I wear?

You are welcome to wear what feels comfortable for you.  Jeans, shorts, or any casual wear is fine.  If you feel more comfortable in a dress and heels or suit and tie, that is fine too!  Come as you are and you will fit right in.

Our Sunday School meets during the 10:00 am hour in classrooms throughout the church.  We have something for everyone in the family:  children, youth, and adults.  Each class offers an opportunity to strengthen your faith through fellowship and dialogue with other Christians.

Children’s Ministry Classes are for Pre-K through 5th grade, and meet in the Children’s Wing. Classes are spearheaded by our Children’s Director Alicia Wilson. 

Youth Ministry Classes are for youth 6th—12th grade, and meet in the Church Annex. Classes are spearheaded by our Associate Pastor and Youth Director Austin Byerly. 

Adult Classes are for men and women of all ages. We currently have four classes: The Discovering Gems (a women’s class that meets in the back hallway past the Library), Fellowship Class (a men and women’s class that meets in the Community Room West past the Church Office), Seekers (a men and women’s class that meets in the Annex back hallway), and Reflections (a men and women’s class that meets in the Sensory Room near the Sanctuary).

Yes!  Nursery care for infants and toddlers up to three years old is offered during Sunday School and all worship services.  For children in preschool, we have Sunday School and Bible class throughout the morning.  Children in Kindgergarten through 5th grade enjoy Sunday School at 10:00 am and Kids Own Worship at 9:00 am and 11:00 am.  Of course, your children are always welcome to join you for worship in the sanctuary if you like.

Coffee and tea are available before and after the 9:00 am worship service and before the 11:00 am worship service in the lobby as you enter the church.
